As the BI Solution Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of end to end solutions / projects in the BI (Business Intelligence) space – from business requirements, to design to solutions and implementation. Leading initiatives for improvement, standardization and simplification of the current BI solutions and this both from a technology as well as from a process perspective. Drive innovation within the BI space.
Duties & Responsibilities
Define and design zone solutions (pilot and roll out) blueprint and business case within the BI space;
Plan and coordinate solution definition and coordinate solution delivery with service provider – on time and within budget;
Track, escalate and resolve specific business function IS related zone projects progress and issues (including project management support) where necessary;
Facilitate communication between IS and zone InBev business in zone IS-related projects;
Support InBev zone business to define zone specific business function IS needs with appropriate solutions and initiate business cases;
Ensure compliance of zone specific business function IS-solutions with InBev global standards & policies;
Identify and provide innovative, proven, optimized BI IS solutions to help us innovate and stay ahead of the game in the BI space;
Liaise with Zone and Global Solution Architecture to ensure specific zone business function solutions are aligned with IS strategy, technology and architecture;
Set-up strong governance and routines with all parties.
MBA / University degree level or equal by experience, combining Information Technology and Financial management
5+ years of experience in IT/IS project delivery and solutioning – with preference in the BI domain
Deep understanding and experience with IT outsourced model
Excellent analytical/problem solving skills;
Strong project management skills and communication skills;
Experience with financial analysis, modelling and data management is a nice to have
Knowledge of in scope technologies is a nice to have (e.g. SAP, SAP BW, Informatica, Kalido, Cognos,TM1, etc…);
Strong organization skills; adherence to deadlines, self-discipline;
English fluent, additional languages are an advantage: Russian, Dutch, French, German, …;
You will be responsible for SAP BI solution design and development, translating business requirements into solid solutions. Your activities range from business requirements analysis to architecture design, BI development, testing and coaching of more junior consultants in the team. You participate in assessments of existing SAP BI implementations and give advice on structural improvements in the areas of performance, usability, architecture, processes and organization. Besides that you will have the opportunity to work together with several services lines within the Deloitte’s Belgian practice, such as Finance Transformation, CRM, Supply Chain Strategy and SAP Process Excellence.
Desired Skills & Experience
You have at least 2 years of experience (4 – 6 years for Senior level implementing SAP BW, BO or Sybase IQ solutions;
You understand Business Intelligence concepts and want to further develop your functional and technical SAP BI competencies in challenging projects, as well as new technologies like SAP HANA;
You have a bachelor or master degree;
You are a team player with strong communication skills;
You have knowledge and relevant experience in BI concepts (Data warehousing, Dashboarding, OLAP,Analytics) ;
You have relevant experience SAP BI tools (SAP BW, BO or Sybase IQ);
You are eager to learn and implement the newest SAP technology (such as HANA);
Having experience in SAP ERP is a plus;
You are open to work in an international environment and must be willing to work abroad if needed;
You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is an asset.

The Janssen R&D IT – External Innovation team is looking for an outstanding and self-motivated Bioinformatician to participate in the IMI Funded eTRIKS consortium (www.etriks.eu). The eTRIKS project is enabling a new generation of knowledge management and informatics technology to enable translational science and biomarker research in complex disease.
Working as part of an international consortium with both leading industrial & academic partners your responsibilities will include:
– Engaging with senior scientists from both Janssen and partner organisation in specific research projects to understand and advise of knowledge management best practice
– Support the coordination, integration and management of Phenotypic, Omic and NGS data from clinical and pre-clinical studies
– Analyse multi-omic data sets using novel systems biology tools
– Collect requirements and guide software engineers in the eTRIKS project as the develop the next generation of the TranSMART platform (www.transmartfoundation.org)
– You have a PhD in biology/bioengineering/or similar
– You have Bioinformatics experience in processing & analysing “ omics” or NGS data
– You have experience in large research consortia
– You are willing to travel
