Yesterday the AI4Belgium coalition was announced in the presence of VP EC Andrus Ansip and the federal ministers Alexander De Croo & Philippe De Backer.
This coalition is being driven by Agoria and the federal government (BoSa)
Regional #AI hubs:
- DigitYser for Brussels,
- The Beacon for Flanders and
- the Walloon Réseau AI.
Other supporters:
imec, BNKVI , BeCentral and the AI & Data Science Community of Belgium.
What I find interesting in the #AI4Belgium Strategy is the call to create “ecosystem that facilitate more responsible data-sharing with reinforced open data policies, more collaborations & a platform with well-structured tools and approaches.”
