Goal of the Function
The function of Business Intelligence Developer is to develop new and to enhance/maintain existing reporting solutions within the context of Isabel.
The BI developer will also define and maintain a set of guidelines and best practices on developing reporting solutions in an Agile environment. Furthermore, continuous improvement is required to ensure that the reporting solutions are and remain maintainable at the lowest possible cost.
All this is done to ensure that the BICC can provide information that meets the needs of Isabel, to use within the company or to provide it to external stakeholders (like the banks).
All this is done with the highest quality so the users of the BI information can be sure that it is conform the reality. Continuous learning and improvement are as such an integral part of the function.
All this is applicable to all the current and future BI information.
Areas of Result
As a BI developer, you are using SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and Sharepoint to develop ETL-packages, DWH-tables, OLAP-cubes, reports and dashboards.
You are responsible for translating functional requirements into technical details and establishing these on the BI platform.
You implement reports, dashboards and analytic solutions using SQL Reporting Services, Excel, PowerView and Sharepoint, for providing predefined reporting solutions.
You also use these tools to implement end-user self-service reporting solutions, this way allowing power users to use the BI data in SQL Server Analysis Services cubes for analysis purposes.You support colleagues in all departments of the company in using both reporting solutions (predefined & self-service) and, if needed, develop ad hoc queries to meet business requirements.
You follow up the execution of already implemented BI solutions and intervene in case of technical issues or incidents.

Able to work effectively in a team environment.Work accurate, with eye for quality and details.
Technical skills:
SQL Server database + all products of the Microsoft BI suite (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, MDS, Sharepoint)
Preferably 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar position
