Job Description
Toyota Technical Center (R&D) in Europe is responsible for the planning, development and production of attractive, superior quality cars matching European market requirements.
The CAD team is a department in R&D which is responsible for innovating R&D processes and tools used to design vehicle parts.
Your Challenge
· Define all processes and guidelines how all technical information (CAD data, simulation data…) needs to be created and shared to other stakeholders for all vehicle projects where European R&D has responsibility
· Follow-up major milestones in vehicle projects and determine relevant KPI’s
· Construct and determine possible improvements on our Product Data Management system based on industry’s best practices in order to achieve superior performance and cost benefits
· Cooperate with several other divisions in order to integrate different data sources in one easy to use tool
· Learn how to work with many departments in the organization to actively drive problem solving through a team working approach in line with the Toyota way
Your Profile
•Several years of experience in technical product data handling (in the automotive or other product producing industry)
•Team player and knows how to coordinate a functional team in order to reach a set objective
•Strong interpersonal communication skills
•Good planning and organization skills
•A strong analytical mind while keeping a hands-on approach
•Can use Microsoft office (MS Excel, PowerPoint). Any knowledge of a commercial PDM system is an asset
•Must be fluent in both written & spoken English; any other European language is an asset
•Enjoys working in an international environment and is available to travel to Japan, US or inside Europe to learn how data is handled within the Toyota group
